1 Developing and valuing each member of staff - we not only invest in our staff members but also encourage personnel to stay healthy and volunteer for good causes. 2 Operating in a fair, ethical and equitable manner - we believe that equality and fairness in the workplace is good management practice and makes sound business sense.

3 Maintaining and developing processes and technology that ensures we are fit for purpose. We comply with relevant legislation and best-practice standards that add value to our business. These include:

  • Marketing Standards: As a member of the Direct Marketing Association (DMA), Coachwise complies with the DMA’s Code of Practice, the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2005, E-commerce Regulations 2002, Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards, Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (2003), Communications Act 2003
  • Reducing our carbon footprint: Our environmental policy is in line with the government’s Waste Strategy 2000. We recycle and have agreements in place with 'green' suppliers. We also have a green travel plan approved by the City Council and encourage staff to join Cyclescheme, supporting the government’s cycle to work initiative.
  • As an awarding body, we are recognised and monitored by the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulator (Ofqual)
  • Intellectual property: We adhere to relevant legislation including the Copyright Designs and Patents Act 1988 and the Trade Marks Act 1994. We are members of the the Publisher's Association.
  • Technology and data standards: we comply with ITIL best practice industry standards for technology related services. We ensure all users comply with legislation relating to the storage, use, transmission and collection of computer data.
