afPE learning through sport

Client

University of Worcester (in association with afPE)

The Job

We were tasked with taking the University of Worcester's 'Learning Through Sport' pilot project for Key Stage 2 pupils from hand-drawn, homemade learning packs to an attractive, cost-effective and saleable product.

The Solution

Coachwise redesigned the pack with an array of vibrant colours, cartoons and fonts. This appealed to the target audience, helping children to engage with the educational content contained inside the pack and motivating them to get more actively involved in sport.

The University of Worcester received a bespoke packaging system that allowed for storage of two CDs containing the content (previously contained on photocopied pages), as well as a guidance document. This provided the client with a significantly more cost-effective solution than mass-producing the content to the initial specification – a folder, loose leaves and dividers.

The client benefited enormously from Coachwise's project management skills throughout the process, which included drafting content, redesigning the pack, the creation of a highly effective bespoke packaging system, proofreading and print production.

The Results/Benefits

This professional, vibrant product helped the University to build a unique 'Learning Through Sport' brand, creating a nation-wide market for the product and increasing exposure for the university’s sports programme.
