The Job
All companies that process, store or transmit credit card information now have to adhere to strict guidelines set by The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). The RFU's Community Rugby Shop needed its website to comply with these laws, and Coachwise was asked to make this happen.
The Solution
The RFU Community Rugby Shop had a dynamic and up-to-the-minute e-commerce platform developed and implemented for them. This new platform provides a range of new features that benefit user and client alike.
Customers can now enjoy a range of enhanced features on the site, such as the ability to read about, review and rate products, manage their accounts online, track delivery progress through integration with our courier, view extracts from books and digital sources, and redeem promotional vouchers, and discounts.
RFU is now able to use polls to gain valuable customer information, use Google Analytics to access industry-standard reporting and benchmarking and offer customer groups discounts if required. Coachwise integrated the new site with its advanced mail order system, which has given the RFU an e-commerce platform that processes orders seamlessly.
The Results/Benefits
As well as having a new site that looks and feels user-friendly, the RFU has benefited from a PCI compliant site that is in line with all legal requirements for online trading. Analytics show that all benchmarks and targets agreed at the outset continue to be achieved.
